マイケル・ジャクソンの原点といえる、ジャクソン5を主人公にした伝説のアニメーション番組、邦題「それいけジャクソン5」が、日本語字幕スーパー入り映像にてDVD化。ジャクソン5を主人公に、1971年から1973年にかけて、アメリカのABCモーニング・カートゥーンで放映され、大ヒットしたコメディ・アニメ・プログラムで、その3エピソードを収録したもの。そして内容は、当時全米のヒット・チャートをにぎわすヒット曲を次々と生み出していた彼等が、スターダムへ駆け上がっていく様子を描いたコメディ・タッチなもので、当時の時代背景を象徴するメンバーの服装など、懐かしくも新鮮でポップな映像は、今見ても斬新。 さらに同時期のTV番組ライブも追加収録したマイケル・ファンならずとも要チェック・アイテム。 [Jackson5 TV Show Medley] I Want You Back/ABC/The Love You Save [episode:1] "It All Started With..." The pilot episode, introducing the five brothers, their pets, their producer (Berry Gordy) and the apocryphal origin story of the Jacksons depicting Diana Ross as their mentor who discovered them when they saved her from their pet snake, Rosey. The Jackson brothers agree to play an outdoor concert similar to Woodstock, but learn that a team of cruel lumberjacks plan to level the forest where the concert is scheduled.
