ビートルズ・ファン注目の、2014年レア音源コレクションとして「アーカイヴ・レコーディングス1963」がここに。初登場音源を含めたスタジオ・レコーディング、BBCライブ、そしてデモ音源などが新たに再編集され、アップグレードした改訂版として永久保存CDにて。まずオフィシャル未発表だったブートレッグ音源を中心に、2013年12月突如ネット上で配信リリースされた「ブートレッグ・レコーディングス・1963」は、初登場音源となるスタジオ・レコーディングのステレオ・ミックスや、クオリティー・アップしたBBC音源、そしてデモ・トラックが含まれ、大きく注目された一方、BBC音源では曲が頭ギレとなっている不完全編集も複数あり。そこでこの「アーカイヴ・レコーディングス」では、そうした音源を補填修正した上で、カットされた前後のMCや、連続したライブ音源は曲を加えることで、より自然な形のコンプリート収録とし、内容修正を施したアップグレード編集版ゆえ、BBC音源のほとんどがマスターよりも長い収録時間を実現。また曲の日付クレジットも一部間違いがあった中、そうした点も正確なデータ記載に訂正。さらにデモ音源もポールの「ミッシェル」、ジョージの「ドント・バザー・ミー」等の1963年音源を追加収録し、マスター収録59トラックだった内容が、ここでは計68トラックということに。ファン必修となる「ブートレッグ・レコーディングス」を、より完璧な形で修正し永久保存でお届けする、リヴァイスド＆エクスパンデッド・コレクターズ・エディション。(2CD) DISC ONE : (STUDIO RECORDINGS) 1.
